The primary responsibility of the Photo Lab Technician is to make prints of various types and sizes, and the maintenance on printers during operation. The Photo Lab Technician works independently from the Photo Team under the supervision of the Photo Manager and Assistant Photo Manager. In case of need takes photos. Education High school graduate Language Skills English and at least another language. QUALIFICATIONS At least two (2) years working with laboratory equipment, supplies and materials typically used in instructional photographic laboratories. Wide experience with photo chemistry and emulsions. A high level of hardware and software knowledge. A keen interest in photography. Ability to work without direct supervision. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Completion of photographic orders submitted to the printer. 2. To print photos 3. To operate all photographic processing equipment in the photo lab 4. To propose and organize quality meetings with the photographers 5. To follow up the basic maintenance of the printers and ensures that all material, equipment and machinery are in good working condition; any faults or damages are to be immediately reported to the Photo Manager 6. To ensure the matching of printing with the time table of the displayed requests 7. To maintain for the Manager an inventory of the paper and chemical stock control 8.
